The Block Northway is again hosting a "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 3-6 p.m., benefiting students and families across the North Hills School District.

Community members are invited to help local students start the school year prepared by donating new school supplies during the event.

An ABC Transit school bus will be parked between DSW and Lands' End to collect donations, with the goal of filling it with essential school supplies. Items such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, lunch boxes and other classroom essentials are all welcome.

In addition, the North Hills Cheerleaders will perform from 5-6 p.m., bringing school spirit and excitement to the event.

Following a successful event in 2025, organizers are looking forward to making this year's collection even bigger and helping even more North Hills students head back to school with the supplies they need. (Check out the video from last year's collection below!)

Those who are unable to attend but would still like to support North Hills students can make a financial donation to the North Hills Foundation. The Foundation supports and enriches the educational experience for all North Hills students by championing, funding and enhancing opportunities in academics, arts and athletics.

School supply lists for all grade levels are available at www.nhsd.net/backtoschool.
